Refund Policy

At Sleepy Eve Studio, every piece and experience is thoughtfully handmade or carefully planned in small batches.

 

Because of the time, materials, and preparation involved, our policies are designed to be clear, fair, and respectful of the work behind each order.

 

Please review the details below before purchasing or booking.

Ready-to-Ship Items

If you’re not fully satisfied with a ready-to-ship item, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a refund:

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition

  • Original packaging must be included

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
     

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
 

Please note:
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

Handmade & Fragile Items

Many Sleepy Eve Studio pieces are handmade and delicate.

While all orders are packaged with care to ensure safe delivery, slight variations in texture, shape, or finish are part of the handmade process and do not qualify as defects.

Custom & Handmade Orders

All custom orders are made specifically for you.

Because these pieces involve dedicated labor and materials:

  • Custom orders are final sale and non-refundable once production has begun

  • Once work has started, only shipping costs are recoverable
     

Cancellations Before Production

If you need to cancel before production begins, please contact us as soon as possible.
A full refund will be issued minus a 10% processing fee.
 

Damaged Custom Orders

If your custom item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos.
Sleepy Eve Studio will assess the situation and may offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
 

Workshops & Events

All workshops and events are in-person and limited capacity.
Payment (deposit or full amount) is required to reserve your spot.
 

Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before the event: Full refund of deposit or payment

  • Within 48 hours of the event: Payment is non-refundable
     

No-Shows

A no-show is defined as:

  • Failure to attend the event without prior notice, or

  • Arrival more than 15 minutes late after the workshop has started
     

In the case of a no-show:

  • All payments (including full payments) are forfeited

  • No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued

This policy is necessary due to limited seating and preparation of materials.
 

Transfers & Event Credit

  • Ticket transfers are allowed — you may transfer your spot to another person

  • Event credit may be offered at our discretion for future workshops if notice is provided at least 48 hours in advance
     

Event Changes or Cancellations by Sleepy Eve Studio

If an event must be canceled or rescheduled by Sleepy Eve Studio due to unforeseen circumstances, attendees will be offered:

  • A full refund or

  • Credit toward a future workshop or event
     

Damaged or Defective Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
 

Approved cases will receive:

  • A replacement or

  • A full refund, including original shipping costs
     

International Orders

Sleepy Eve Studio ships internationally for handmade clay items. Please note that customs fees, duties, and shipping delays are outside our control and are non-refundable.
 

Future non-clay products (such as tools or hardware) may be subject to different shipping and refund terms.

 

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments. For more information, you may review their payment dispute and buyer protection policies.
